Business Fair Success

Selling is a creative art.  Selling is successful when you have managed to motivate your prospect to buy from you.  A great chance for you to meet many prospects or potential buyers is to hold a business fair or trade show or another word, roadshow.  Instead of making several phone calls, you are meeting people straight, face to face.  It is good chance for you to clinch business deals if you are well-prepared for your business fair -- for example, memorize all your power statements and power questions.

No matter what products you are selling, be creative and "WOW" your prospects.  There are several types of trade show displays which you can use.  Nowadays, business fair can be held several times per year.  Luckily, there are so many types of trade show displays you can choose.  So always have a new look or new theme for your business fair.  Do not bored your prospects.  Amaze them, inspire them and motivate them instead.

A simple business fair which you carried out may look something like the photograph show above.  Depending on your budget, you can have differing exhibit booths.  In the above example, customers would walk to the booth to use the health equipments stationed there.  Using the same example above again, this sort of exhibit booth is very common.  It is too common and ordinary to be able to "WOW" any customers or prospects.  Nowadays you can make use of truss instead.  There are so many types of truss in the market.  These can be collapsible modular truss, custom aluminum truss, hyperlite hybrid truss and many more.  The advantage of using truss is that it will make your booth modern looking and neat.  Very importantly, it is strong and rigid, very durable, not easily topple or be blown away (as in open air fair).

When planning for business fair, every single details need to be taken into consideration.  Remember this is your only chance to meet various types of people and many people.  You want to make full use of your time and space provided.  It is your only time to impress and win.  If never close any deals, at least you would want to have a close follow-up, or to have future friendship with your prospects. So it is an investment to have an impressive exhibit booth, something that is extraordinary, unique and standing out from the rest of the cohort.  Use the above example again.  How to improve on the exhibit or display booth?  Notice that the flooring is very dark.  There are no carpets or any other things on the floor.  It looks so dull.  Putting a big rectangular carpet would be a better idea.  However, if there is no carpet, then small logo floor mats could be used as well.  Colourful floor mats put on the floor with your company logo would attract customers.  It would leave a deep imprint on your customers and it would be an easier dealings with them in future (follow-ups).

If you spend a little money and invest in your exhibition booth, I am sure you will attract customers or prospects into your exhibit booth.  Once customer/prospect enter your working space, the rest is all your chance -- your power presentations.  Below is a short quote from Brian Tracy:

Selling complex products to complex people in competitive markets is one of the most difficult and challenging things you will ever do.  The process of persuading people to buy things from you is complex because people are complex.  Each time you make a sale it is because you have accurately presented your product or service in such a way that it satisfies the predominant need or needs of your prospect.  Whenever you fail to make a sale, it is because your presentation of the features and benefits of your product did not connect with the underlying forces that would motivate your prospect to buy.  Your ability to correctly uncover the real buying motives of the people you speak to will determine your selling success as much as any other factor.

So every single factor counts in the sales process.  An impressive sales booth is the first step to a successful business fair.

Trade Show Exhibits

'Visual' messages are sent to customers which would 'add points' or 'minus points' to the company each time they walk past an exhibit.

Every business aims to excel and to be successful. In order to be successful at something, I believe in constant good work of delivering your promise (in your product), and the aftersale service. In today's world, we see so many new business such as those in the shopping centres, the boutiques or bakeries and many more. However, not many shops can survive. After a few months, we see some shops in the shopping centres or other commercial places have to close down. Whatever business you are in, there has to be a lot of hardwork and 'homework'.

One of the way to ensure business survival in this world is to make yourself be known. If nobody know of your existence, your products will never have a chance of going to be discharged from your store.

Participating in Trade Show Exhibits have many advantages. Besides exposure of your company to new cohort of customers, you are stirring curiosity and creating new excitements (something unusual from the norm) for your customers.

There are many types of trade show booths which you can think of, creating lots of themes each time you utilize certain ideas or themes for your exhibits. The purpose of holding such a sale booth is definitely to boost your sale. However, the problem of budgeting is not to be missed.

A good impression for the customer is so important. To make a good trade show booth, many factors need to be considered. This includes issues like the position, the types of materials you are going to used and the duration of the trade show.

In order to stand out from other booths, your booth must stand out from the rest -- catch the attention of the customers. If the location of your exhibition booth contains unsightly background, you can consider Pipe and Drape to cover up all these. After you have the background solved, you should think of the flooring too (Look at Trade Show Flooring and Carpet: http://www.camelbackdisplays.com/Page_11x.htm)

In every trade show exhibits, you must not forget a working table (a table for you to do work), like the one above. Depending on the layout of your floorplan or booth, you decide for yourself what sort of table top you are going to use -- size and shape of the table: L-shape, U-shape, rectangle, square or circle. After you have thought of the table shape and size, you would need to select table tops or table covers. There are a variety of table covers -- blank throws, printed throws, contour covers, runners, and even table skirts.

The next step of the set up of the trade show booth may involves all other necessary things like counters, cabinets, and furniture for storing your goods and stuff. However, the last thing which you must not miss out is your advertisement banner, like the Success Resources banner above. The Banner would tell potential customers what your company offers. There are many types of banner stands. Customers are always attracted to things which they never see before. So in choosing banner stands for your booth, be innovative and creative. Remember your purpose of having a booth there is to boost your sale. Have amazing banners, special banners (eg. Digital banner stands, Tension Fabric Banner Stands) , that can "WOW" your customers!

This is just the framework of the trade show. How successful is your sale going to be depends on your 'workforce' next.
